 James Ryan is a resident of Milton, Massachusetts and,
when not painting, teaches Spanish at Milton Academy.
 His extensive travels to Spain have been a major source 
of inspiration for his paintings. In addition,
 he enjoys capturing in watercolor the wonderful light and 
colors of New England. James has exhibited at Boston's
 City Hall and won first prize in watercolor at the 2000 River
 Art Festival in Milton.
